The Ministry of The Metropolitan Tabernacle and Doctor James McConnell are synonymous. Soon to celebrate fifty years of service, James McConnell pioneered the work as a young man of nineteen years of age. From small beginnings in 1957, with just ten people attending on that first winter morning, year after year the blessing of the Lord pervaded in every department of this special ministry. With a congregation now numbering nearly 3000 people it has become one of the largest churches in Europe and to God be the glory.
